I would like to know how to choose tennis shoes.

回答 Answer

When choosing tennis shoes, please select shoes with soles suitable for each court surface.

【Hard Court】
A hard court refers to a court with a surface made of concrete, or covered with rubber or acrylic, or a court with materials such as carpet laid on top of concrete.

【Omni Court】
It refers to a court where artificial turf is laid with sand. It is commonly seen in tennis courts in Japan.

【Clay Court】
A clay court is a tennis court covered with sandy clay or finely crushed sand.
For the tennis shoes currently available for sale on this online shop, it is possible to distinguish them by the pattern of the outsole.

*Our shoes are developed considering the characteristics of the ground environment. If the outsole is not suitable for the ground, it may lead to decreased play performance or injuries. Please be sure to select an outsole that is suitable for the ground you are using.

【1】All-Court Sole (Herringbone Sole)
It can be used on all courts, but it demonstrates grip on hard courts. The pattern of the sole (bottom of the shoe) is zigzag from the toe to the heel in the vertical direction.

【2】Multi-Court Sole
It can be used on all courts, but it demonstrates grip on Omni courts. The pattern of the sole (bottom of the shoe) is zigzag from the toe to the heel in both the vertical and horizontal directions.

【3】Omni-Court Sole
It can only be used on Omni courts. It demonstrates even higher grip compared to using All-Court or Multi-Court soles on Omni courts. The pattern of the sole (bottom of the shoe) has independent irregularities.

【4】Hard-Court Sole
It can only be used on hard courts. It demonstrates even higher grip compared to using All-Court or Multi-Court soles on hard courts. The pattern of the sole is relatively flat, matching the hard court.
